Psalm 49:21
Print
People, even rich ones, can fail to grasp that, like animals, they will die.
These things hast thou done, and I was silent. Thou thoughtest unjustly that I should be like to thee: but I will reprove thee, and set before thy face.
In his prime, man does not understand. He is like the beasts—they perish.
Despite his riches, a man who does not have wisdom is like the beasts that perish.
A pompous man, without understanding— he is like the beasts that perish.
